Pentago House is a dedicated space for community, creativity, and charity. We’re passionate about bringing people together through unique events, exhibitions, and fundraising initiatives. Our mission is to provide a vibrant platform where art, design, and culture can thrive, all while giving back to the community.
One of our flagship events is Spirit of the Studio, an annual exhibition series that began in 2019. It serves as a dynamic platform for architects who are also practicing artists, blurring the lines between these disciplines. We believe in showcasing the multifaceted talent of professionals working across fields like architecture, painting, sculpture, and new media. To date, Spirit of the Studio has proudly featured and facilitated the sale of works by renowned artists such as Hijjas Kasturi, Nic Proud, Greg Dall, Chong C. C., Leon Moulton, and Robert Powell. The 2025 exhibition will mark our sixth year of celebrating this creative spirit.
As the Art Director for Pentago House, Wendy Khaw brings her extensive experience and creative vision to our events and exhibitions. As a founding member of the Pentago Group, she has been instrumental in shaping its culture and values.
A Fellow of the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia and a UN Women WEPs Award winner, Wendy’s background as a Landscape Architect—with a strong focus on both Malaysian and Australian landscapes—gives her a unique perspective.
Known for her creative thinking and ability to fuse artistic ideas with cultural sensitivity, Wendy has a talent for translating visions into memorable experiences. She leads the curation of events like Spirit of the Studio, ensuring each exhibition is delivered to a high standard and reflects Pentago House’s core mission of fostering creativity and connection.
